Appointment of Interim Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service The Council to receive the recommendation of the Appointment Panel, established by the Joint Human Resources Committee on 6 December 2018, on the preferred candidate to fill the post of Interim Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service. Minutes: The Leader of the Council presented a report and recommendation to Council seeking to approve the appointment of Gill Kneller as Interim Chief Executive following the resignation of Sandy Hopkins.
In proposing the recommendation, the Leader confirmed that the recruitment process followed in relation to this interim appointment had been fully in compliance with the Council’s Constitution.
Proposed by Councillor Wilson and seconded by Councillor Pike, it was
RESOLVED that Gill Kneller be appointed as Interim Chief Executive of Havant Borough Council from 1 January 2019 to 30 June 2019, thereby fulfilling the role of Head of Paid Service for Havant Borough Council.
