To appoint a Chairman for the Joint Human Resources Committee for the 2013/14 municipal year.

RESOLVED that Councillor Ken Carter be appointed Chairman of the Joint Human Resources Committee for 2013/14.

To appoint a Vice-Chairman for the Joint Human Resources Committee for the 2013/14 municipal year.

RESOLVED that Councillor Mrs Marjorie Smallcorn be appointed Vice Chairman of the Joint Human Resources Committee for 2013-14.

To receive and record any apologies for absence from members present

Apologies for absence were received from Councillors A Glass, J Hunt,

M Johnson MBE and C Wherrell.

To confirm the minutes of the Joint Human Resources Committee held on 5 February 2013.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Joint Human Resources Committee held on 5 February 2013 be approved as a correct record.

To consider any matters arising from the minutes of the last meeting.

There were no matters arising from the minutes of the last meeting.

To receive and record any declarations of interests from members present in respect of any of the various matters on the agenda for this meeting.

At the invitation of the Chairman, Councillor Mrs Smallcorn, as former Chairman, thanked the members for their contribution to the work of the Committee in 2012/13.

RESOLVED that the following members, representing East Hampshire District Council and Havant Borough Council respectively, be appointed to sit on two local Human Resources Panels in accordance with the Committee’s terms of reference:

East Hampshire District Council:

Councillors K Carter, A Glass, J Onslow and C Wherrell (Standing Deputy)

Havant Borough Council:

Councillors Mrs G Blackett, C Hilton, Mrs M Smallcorn and T Hart (Standing Deputy)
