Minutes:

The Minutes of the meeting of the Site Viewing Working Party held on 22 August 2019 were agreed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

APP/19/00038 - Land Adj to 11 Queen Annes Drive, Havant

Minutes:

Proposal: Erection of 1 No. 3 bed dwelling with associated access and parking

 

The site was viewed given a request by a Ward Councillor that this application be determined by the Development Management Committee.

 

The Working Party received a written report by the Head of Planning, which identified the following key considerations:

 

(i)

Principle of development

 

 

(ii)

Appropriateness of design and impact upon the character and appearance of the area

 

 

(iii)

Impact upon residential amenity

 

 

(iv)

Highways and parking

 

 

(v)

Developer contributions

 

 

(vi)

Ecology

 

The Working Party viewed the site, the subject of the application, to assess whether there were any additional matters that should be considered by the Development Management Committee. The Working Party also viewed the site from the rear gardens of 9 Queen Annes Drive and 6 Norman Way. 

 

RESOLVED that, based on the information available at the time, no other information be made available to the Development Management Committee.

APP/19/00007 - Camp Field (land to the west of Havant Crematorium), Bartons Road, Havant

Minutes:

Proposal: Outline Application for access with all other matters reserved, for up to 72 new homes plus associated green infrastructure including community orchard.

 

The site was viewed as the proposal is a Departure for the Adopted Local Plan and therefore this application is to be determined by the Development Management Committee.

 

The Working Party viewed the site, the subject of the application, to assess whether there were any additional matters that should be considered by the Development Management Committee. The Working Party also viewed the site from the rear garden of 10 Harrison Way.

 

RESOLVED that, based on the site inspection and information available at the time, the following additional information be provided to the Development Management Committee:

 

(a)       clarification on whether it was intended that the access road would be an adopted highway.
