The Committee considered the written report and recommendation from the Head of Planning to grant listed building consent.

 

In response to questions from the Committee, officers advised that fire escape routes from homes were dealt with under the Building Regulations.

 

RESOLVED that application APP/21/01031 be granted listed building consent subject to:

 

(A)        The expiry of the publicity period associated with the listed building application on 31st December 2021, subject to no new issues being raised which are not covered in this report; and

 

(B)        The following condition:

 

            1          The works must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent.

           

                        Reason: To comply with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
