The Licensing and Regulation Committee deals with the Council's
licensing functions, covering such matters as public entertainment,
taxis, cinemas, animal welfare, pubs and clubs, betting and gaming,
caravan sites, bylaws, etc, and health and safety inspection
duties.
Most Licensing matters related to premises and personal licences
are dealt with by a
Licensing Sub
Committee appointed on an adhoc
basis.

Register to Speak
Members of the public are welcome to attend the Committee and
observe the meetings.
A member of the public may
speak at a meeting of the Licensing Committee on a matter included
in the agenda for that meeting provided the request to speak and a
summary of the text has been received by the Democratic
Services Team no later than 48 hours before
the start of the
meeting.
